The food was delicious. The pizza has an incredible crust, cheese and tomato sauce. Also, ask the waitress for pasta recommendations, they're excellent. Beverages also delicious as well!
Monday evening.around 8 pm and went right in. Got the Burrata Margarita and it was delicious. The crust is very thin and soft, and the sauce and burrata were really good. I would go back.
I will come back here just to see Armando, a hardworking employee of Funicula who has been delivering the best for 17 yrs. Their menu is outstanding, great atmosphere and top 3 Italian food in Guadalajara.
It is an experience to remember. I had the carbonara and it was just perfect, traditional recipe, authentic flavor and the ingredients felt just right on my mouth. The ambiance couldn’t be better, the restaurant was filled by Italians, green flag for an Italian restaurant. I lived for a while in Genova and got to know that the traditional pasta for pesto is trofie, the first time I’ve seen trofie al pesto in a menu in Mexico was here at funicula, another green flag.

Oh my goodness, what a pizza!!! I've been waiting for months to have a good quality pizza in my travels in Mexico & Funicula gave me an 8.8/10 in their pepperoni & mushroom pizza. They're naranjanada was fresh & delicious, so refreshing. I wish I took photos, but it was immediately delicious & everything was enjoyed greatly. Their Italian ice cream is amazing, too. Great serving sizes for the price you pay. If you want a great night out enjoying great service, great ambience & great food, Funicula is a MUST.
